David Bowie- Letter to Hermione. From Space Oddity (1969).
I was listening to “Everything Reminds Me of Her” by Elliott Smith the other day, and this song came to my mind immediately. The guitar part is so similar as well as the actual meaning of the song. They just fit together perfectly in my mind.
This is easily one of my top 10 Bowie songs of all time.

Ellen DeGeneres compared Lady GaGa to David Bowie. The world will now end. Lady GaGa is the most unoriginal piece of fake glam garbage. Come on. My head is exploding. By the way, why is Ellen all up in her pants? I know she’s a lesbian and all, but Lady GaGa is a dude, remember? Oh wait, David Bowie made up fake rumors about himself in the 70s just like she is doing now. But you shouldn’t compare the two. Lady GaGa is just a big fat copy cat. Okay, I’m better now. By the way, the video is just there for the fun of it. There’s no reason to watch it, and it has horrible quality- just like Lady GaGa.
